Fire — hillside parcels

Encino's hillside parcels in the Santa Monica Mountains fall in a Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone, where Chapter 7A requires a Class A roof assembly, ember-resistant vents, and non-combustible flashing (no wood shake). Decking / sheathing
