Roof replacement
Full tear-off to the deck, new underlayment, and a shingle, tile, or flat system chosen for your roof — deck-repair rates written into the agreement before we start.
Roof replacementRoof repair
Leaks, lifted shingles, cracked tile, failed flashing, skylight and chimney curbs. Fixed where the roof actually failed, with photos of the repair.
Roof repairNew roof installation
New builds, ADUs, and additions — roofing built tight to the plans, Title 24 compliant, coordinated with your architect, GC, solar and HVAC trades.
New roof installationMaintenance & inspection
A free, drone-documented look at what your roof actually needs, a written condition report, and the small repairs that keep it from becoming a replacement.
Maintenance & inspectionEmergency roof repair
Active leak, wind-lifted shingles, a branch through the roof: honest phone triage, tarping or temporary sealing, then written pricing for the permanent fix.
Emergency roof repairCommercial & flat roofing
TPO, silicone restoration coatings, and torch-down for flat and low-slope buildings — Title 24 cool-roof compliance handled with the permit paperwork.
Commercial & flat roofing
The same process, whether it's one cracked tile or a full re-roof.
It starts with a free, roughly two-hour on-site inspection. We walk the roof, fly the drone, and show you what we found — not a sales pitch, an honest repair-vs-replace answer. Then you get written, itemized pricing: materials, scope, and timeline, with deck-repair rates declared up front so nothing balloons later.
Every stage of the work is photographed by drone, before, during, and after, and the full set is yours to keep. Every job carries a 10-year workmanship warranty in writing.

Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. Every job starts with a free, roughly two-hour on-site inspection, or a free 15-minute phone consultation if you just want to talk it through. No pressure, no obligation. Book online at calendly.com/samuelroofinginc or call (866) 685-3889.
What roofing systems do you install?
Architectural composition shingle — we are an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor and a certified installer for GAF, CertainTeed and Malarkey. Concrete and clay tile as a Boral and Eagle certified installer. Flat and low-slope: TPO single-ply, modified bitumen and torch-down (Polyglass certified), and silicone restoration coatings. Standing-seam metal and stone-coated steel for fire-zone and hillside homes.
What warranty comes with the work?
A 10-year workmanship warranty in writing on every job. Manufacturer warranties on top of that: shingle systems carry a limited lifetime warranty, extendable to 50 years because we are an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor; flat-roof systems usually run 15 to 20 years; silicone coatings 10 to 20 years depending on how thick the material is applied.
Which areas do you cover?
Our office is at 4464 Vista Del Monte Ave, #202 in Sherman Oaks, and we work across Los Angeles County and Orange County — every one of our 81 service-area pages lists the local code and fire-zone notes for that city.
California Title 24: what the cool-roof rule means for your project
California's Title 24, Part 6 energy code applies by climate zone and roof slope, and it is triggered when you replace 50% or more of a roof (or about 1,000 sq ft). On flat and low-slope roofs, a CRRC-rated cool-roof product (aged solar reflectance ≥ 0.63, thermal emittance ≥ 0.75 — roughly SRI 75) is required in nearly every Southern California zone. On steep-slope (pitched) residential roofs, most of the LA basin, coast, and San Fernando Valley (Climate Zones 6, 8 and 9) is exempt — standard shingle or tile complies — while hot inland and desert zones (10–15, e.g. Santa Clarita, Lancaster, Palmdale) require a cool-roof product on every slope (about SRI 16). Cool-roof products come in many colors, not just white. Small like-for-like repairs generally don't trigger the rule, and trade-offs like added attic insulation can substitute in some cases.
Every city page on this site states the verified climate zone and fire-zone rules for that area. Codes are parcel-specific — confirm with your building department, or call us at (866) 685-3889 and we'll confirm it for you.
